If you cannot connect to the AirStash via WiFi, try these steps:

1. Verify AirStash is on (slow blinking green wireless icon), charged, and NOT plugged into a computer or USB hub.
2. Verify on the client device that WiFi is on and that the AirStash SSID is selected. For instructions to connect, see http://support.airstash.com/entries/184470
3. Make sure there are no 2.4GHz devices on that would interfere with WiFi, such as a cordless phone, microwave, wireless video camera, etc. NOTE: There could also be a high congestion of WiFi devices in your location. If you do not have a means to view the amount of WiFi traffic at your location, please move to a new location (at least a block away) to verify this is the issue.
4. If you are connected to AirStash via WiFi but cannot connect to AirStash either through an app or when typing "airstash.net" in the browser address bar, see WEP CONNECTION ISSUE below
5. If this still does not work, try clearing the client device: http://support.airstash.com/entries/184467
6. If having trouble with a computer, please make sure you have any security firewalls or proxies turned off (the computer should get a DNS server address of 192.168.0.1)
7. Turn AirStash power off, then back on

WEP CONNECTION ISSUE:

There is a known issue with Apple's WiFi implementation: for iOS devices, if you mistype your WEP password when connecting to AirStash, there is no warning and WiFi shows connected, but one cannot connect typing airstash.net into the browser. Please follow these steps:

To verify WEP issue:

1. Go to Settings > WiFi
2. While "connected" to AirStash via WiFi (check mark to left of AirStash SSID shows connected), select the arrow on the far right of the AirStash SSID
3. If the "Router" field is blank, then you most likely have connected via WEP with the incorrect password.

To fix WEP connection issue:

1. Go to Settings > WiFi
2. While "connected" to AirStash via WiFi (check mark to left of AirStash SSID shows connected), select the arrow on the far right of the AirStash SSID
3. Tap on "Forget Network"
4. Reconnect to AirStash with the corrected password.
